Maintain long-lasting press-on nails

To ensure your beautiful press-on nails stay flawless and last for an extended period, follow these essential care tips:

  • Avoid using your nails as tools to prevent damage and lifting.
  • Wear gloves when performing housework or washing dishes to protect your nails from harsh chemicals and excessive moisture.
  • Steer clear of hot water and oil for at least 30 minutes after applying your nail set.
  • Limit exposure to intense heat and avoid excessive contact with grease and strong chemicals.
  • Keep your nails consistently clean and dry to prevent the buildup of bacteria and potential infections.

Avoid common nail damage

Many everyday habits can inadvertently damage your press-on nails and even your natural nails. Be mindful of these actions to keep your manicure pristine:

  • Never use your nails to open cans of soda, energy drinks, or any similar items. Always opt for a tool.
  • When washing dishes, always wear rubber dish gloves to shield your nails from water and soap, even if you’re quickly rinsing something.
  • Whenever possible, use your fingers or the pads of your hands instead of your nails to grab or grip objects. This reduces stress on both your press-ons and natural nails.

Nourish your natural nails

My carefully selected glue is designed to be gentle and not damage your natural nails. However, maintaining strong, healthy natural nails is crucial, especially between press-on applications:

  • Between nail sets, dedicate time for self-care for your natural nails.
  • Gently clip your cuticles to promote healthy growth and appearance.
  • Lightly buff your nails to create a smooth surface.
  • Apply a coat of nail strengthener or a specialized cream like 'hard as hoof' and let it absorb for up to 24 hours before buffing out nails and  applying your next set.

Troubleshooting common issues

Even with the best care, minor issues can sometimes arise. Here’s what to do if a press-on nail lifts or if you encounter other common problems:
